Sheltered beneath mt pihanga at the southern end of lake taupo, we have the famous tongariro river at the end of our short street with the hydro pool, major jones footbridge and trout fishing pools within easy walking distance, and the river walk and cycle track begins at the lodge back gate. Beyond mt pihanga lies the tongariro national park with mts tongariro, ngauruhoe and ruapehu providing awesome scenery, hiking trails and skiing. the lodge is a completely self-contained 3 bedroom holiday home, surrounded by its own private lawns and garden. It is fully furnished and equipped to accommodate a maximum of 6 people (including children). The lodge interior is pleasantly decorated with an alpine atmosphere, to ensure you enjoy your mountain holiday experience.
